Could someone post the previous Fire challenge results. (I am going to have to learn how to do this one day).

Actually if someone wants to explain to me how to link a previous challenge or thread into a current thread I would be grateful. So far I have only figured out the pictures and today I learned how to do my first screen grab!!

Fire
Fire II

To search for previous challenges, there are 2 ways that I know of:

1. Go here and search through the endless challenge titles.
2. From the main page, use the "image search" box to search (usually MUCH faster).

To post a link, copy the URL from the page, and use the hyperlink (globe) icon above the message window.

On the menu bar across the top, under challenges is CHALLENGE HISTORY - selecting this will bring you to the same page in the link provided by roba.

To add a link to a thread or other page, above the message box when posting are 6 small boxes. From left to right these allow you to:
B - make selected text bold
i - make selected text italic
- insert an image (need a link to it)
- insert a hyperlink (need the link)
- insert a thumbnail to an image hosted on DPC (need the image ID - view the image and copy the image number at the end of the address in your address bar of your browser)
- insert a link to a user's profile (same as above - need the number from the end of the address when looking at the user's profile page)

Do you think a picture for the fire challenge actually has to necessarily be of fire....what if it is something that looks firery...or something....?

Given that there is no challenge description my personal view is that it is up to each photographer to interpret the challenge as they wish - that's not to say the bulk of the voters aren't likely to take a more literal interpretation, 'though....

The first key to finding challenges quickly is, indeed, to go to the challenge history page. But the second is to click the button on the left that says "show all challenges."

The final key is to use in-page search. Typically, you press ctrl-F or command-F and enter the name you're looking for.
