I loved the Santa hats, by the way.
The new year's ones look a bit like fezzes (or whatever the plural of "fez" is) -- for the men, anyway. The women's hats look Tibetan.

They look like Sherpa hats to me. Those pointy, knit things you see them wearing in the Himalaya...

uhm, it's January first, about 11.45 in the morning here. My hat hasn't exploded. Is there a problem with mine?

just a soft cotton sunhat wit abrim to keep the sun out of my eyes, trad kiwi dress code wsith shorts and jandals and a beer in one hand and a barby snarler inthe other. I just luv summer

Hats never fit me....my head is too small...I wear the smallest size Akubra and that is even too big. My kids have bigger heads than me....even the paper hats in the Christmas Crackers slip down onto my neck!!! :(
