First Anniversary at DPC! - DPChallenge Forums

Justin's thread reminded and inspired me, but I didn't want to hijack his, so I started my own! I signed up for DPC on December 4th last year and shot for my first challenge on December 24th! It seems like just yesterday, still, and, frankly, it was a pretty bad entry - and it did pretty bad, too!

Even if it isn't obvious to anyone else, I can see how my photography has improved over the last year, even though none of my favorite shots ended up in a challenge.

I've learned so much just from watching and reading here - thanks so much, DPC!

It's blatantly obvious how much you've improved in the short time you've been here.

Looking at your first entry, and comparing it to the last 7 (I had to stop looking after Hairy Toes) ;O)... there's simply no comparison. Just looking at where you've come with your composition, framing, DoF, and processing.

I've been here for 1.5 yrs, and I've definitely seen the same progression. There's nothing like this place!

Happy New Year - looking forward to seeing you kick some butt in '08!
