DPC has members all around the world. Just wanted to see what football(soccer) teams people support and follow.

I am probably the only American who follows the Blackburn Rovers with any passions. I have followed Blackburn's ups and downs since the early 90s. Don't know why I choose Blackburn as a team to follow (most of my friends followed Man U, Arsenal, AC Milan, & Liverpool). Just still remember the first game I watched with Blackburn and deciding to always root for them. I must admit I enjoy watching Man U and AC Milan too...

I have many fond memories of getting up at 3am to watch English Premier League because no major networks here carried games at normal times (early 90s).

Cheers,
JKH

I don't get any football on Tv, but I follow Werder Bremen over in the Bundesliga.

Ha, my 19 year old daughter is an avid Blackburn supporter - I bought her a Santa Cruz away shirt for Christmas! She was yelling the house down earlier this afternoon when it looked like they were going to lose to Derby!

But they did win! I have their home shirt from 1994-1995 season (when they won the league)

Spain- Barca (messi - do I need to say more?)
UK - Southampton

HATE

Greece - Olympiakos (with a passion that almost excedes the love I have for my own team)
Spain - Real
UK - Chelsea (Abramovich should be in prison for embezlement - and I am glad the Mourinio finally decided enough is enough)

Oh Yeah, Happy New Years!

Who's going to win the Champions League this year?

Portsmouth all the way!

(not an answer to the previous post incidentally - I think the chances of us winning the Champions League are pretty slim)

We've had our best start to the season but have rather unfortunately lost the ability to score goals at home (although the last time we did we scored 7!). That was against Reading who we play again tomorrow...

Best money is on Arsenal for Premier League winners.

Coca Cola Champions League is a division lower and any number of teams are in the running, but West Bromwich Albion are looking good at the mo.

NP, it's nice to know that other countries follow our football teams. And, it is good that not everyone thinks Man U is the only team!! :)
