Screw that! Just as I was writing this post Moss redeemed himself catching a long one and running it in.

The Miami Dolpnins will remain the only team to have a perfect season. |

True. It's all but over. :(
But, you gotta give it to the Giants tho... they play well and made the game interesting.

I really am not a Patsies fan but have been pulling for them because I hate hearing all the noise about Miami being the only unbeaten team. I give NE credit they have had an awesome run and deserve to be un beaten. |

It'll be interesting if Pat fans claim a perfect season even if they lose in the playoffs. They still have 3 more games to win before they can tie what Miami did.

I hate that I didn't get to see this game, but from the clips I've seen so far at least the Giants made the Pats work for it.
And #27 Brandon Jacobs (nice guy from Auburn University - WAR EAGLE!!) had a good game, and should have taken out that punk who put his hand through his facemask! |

Those jerseys are so easy to find here in Korea. Sure they are knock-off's, but nobody in the states knows that! They are cheap too. jerseys here cost just $20 dollars. And when a team wins a big game, the shops are filled with jerseys from that team.

If I am remembering correctly, the Dolphins had 14-0 season total and went on to win the Superbowl. so...17-0 altogether? Brady and crew are 16-0 now so two more wins and they will have more wins in a season... a record in itself. But yes, to say they went the whole season undefeated as did the Dolphins... they must possess that humongous Superbowl ring and be going to Disneyworld.
A heckuva game nonetheless. If only the Superbowl will be as good, eh?

Actually, at least two other teams have gone 18-1 (including the 1985 Chicago Bears). So, 19-0 is the bar they must beat...I think they have a good shot, but many things need to go very well for them because everyone will be gunning for them with everything they have. This is going to be a great season for NFL playoffs. |

Perfect season is the thing you look at instead how many wins. there are two seaon in football regular and payoff. By the way Baltimore Colt loose to the dolphins at the end of the 1972 season.

What he said. The perfect regular season is like a no-hitter in baseball, and adding the Super Bowl to that is like pitching the perfect game. We're the first team since 1972 to have a perfect season. If we don't win the Super Bowl, our total accomplishment will be lesser than that of the '72 Dolphins, but we will still have matched their perfect regular season. If we win the Super Bowl, we'll have matched their "perfect game" (per the analogy) and ours won't in any way be a "greater" accomplishment just because we played more games; perfect is perfect.

Nobody talks about the 2001 Seattle Mariners who won 116 games but failed to make the World Series. The Patriots need to win it all. |
