So....I figured I should probably break down and try to get a decent mug shot for my profile page......and after about 35 tries.....this was the best result.

I know some people just revel in self-portraits, but I'm certainly no great shakes in the looks department so I hate doing these!

Anybody else out there that wouldn't do a 30 day self-portrait challenge even under penalty of death? LOL!!!

I'm not too big on them either....but there's tons of stuff you can learn from them. I know I've learned soooo much. And I don't have to worry about the model arguing with me. OK...my SP model does argue, but on the bright side, I always win. And just play around with it, have fun. Push the envelope a little bit.

And here's what I think is my finest work with an SP...

Grandma always used to say, "It's okay to talk to yourself. It's even okay to answer, but when you start to argue with yourself and lose, you know you're in trouble."

Funny, I always say "It's ok to talk to yourself. It's even ok to answer, as long as you don't go 'Huh?!?'"

good to know there are more people talking to themself.

I sometimes talk back to my car-navigator-voice. It's the voice of my fave Dutch radio-dj.

"Go left here."
"Ok, thank you for warning me!"

My hubby thinks that's weird.

And if you don't win, these guys will kick your ass.

I plan on doing the one in Feb. It's gonna be tough for me since I'm going to be in the field for the 1st part of Feb, but I'll do them while I'm out there.

Move to South Florida where you'll be yelling at the top of your lungs, "Watch it you idiot!" at every other driver who all insist on driving across 4 lanes of highway doing 100+k in heavy traffic. ;) Then ask him who's crazy.
