Nah. It's definitely a "wow" transformation; it just needs fine-tuning to be the best it can be. That neck area, in particular, is quite disturbing.

Nevermind my comments - i figured out my own problem here - computer just came back from intensive care with a lobotmy - all systems restored to default and NOT set correctly for the big monitor screen.
Now, if you could just figure out everyone else's problem. The mirror was invisible and now I can see it. I'm so glad I wasn't voting this week. |

Glad I'm not the only one :-)

Me to! Was wondering what that disturbance to the left was, cause all i could see was some brush looking strokes. And my monitor is calibrated, so to speak. Which prob. means the brightness on tanja's monitor must be way up. |

I didn't get to voting, but I guess my opinion's still valid :)
For me, the lace is too strong. I LOVE the idea, and everything else is perfect IMO. I see enough detail to see the mirror frame without losing the low-key effect, but the lace is just so bright and heavy that my eye keeps going back to the detail in it, no matter how much I want to look at the rest. Maybe if it were just a bit finer lace so that it looked almost to be symbiotic?
Without comparing it to the rest of the entries I think I'd have probably given it an 8. It really is lovely :) |
