I just found a bogus charge on my credit card from this site. I went to the site and sent an inquiry. I received an e- mail reply after the initial inquiry, but I haven't gotten a reply to any e-mail since then. The responder provided a username, password, and IP address for the alleged subscriber who used my credit card. I'm still suspicious. This would be the THIRD time this has happened--I was charged for the same thing several months ago from an online company that allegedly sold royalty-free templates and digital images; and I came to dpchallenge.come after a Google search for photomeridian.com because I noticed a charge from them on different credit card about a month ago (posted on this subject on a different thread already). In all 3 cases, the charges were relatively small and the sites allegedly sold royalty-free photos, templates, and/or artwork. Very suspicious. Has anyone ever heard of templateglobus.com or globus.com? |

I just went through the same thing as you with this templateglobus.com. I noticed a $9.87 charge on my debit card. I questioned it to the bank and was given the phone number to templateglobus.com. They did not respond to the phone but referred me to their web site to send an inquiry. I requested them to refund my my money and explain. I got an immediate response with a refund indicated. A few minutes later another email saying that someone must have my debit card number because they had opened an account with them using my name, card number, email address. They also provided an IP address for the computer that it was sent from. It was not my IP address. They said they were turning over the problem to their security section and would tell me any further information they got on the matter. I sent another email to them requesting more info but as you said happened with you, there has been no further response. I don't trust them especially now since you have had this happen to you from the same company. Thanks for sharing what happened to you. |

The same thing happened to me this weekend with template globus.com. I noticed a charge for $9.87 on my cc today. Same story...the guy responded right away saying that someone must have gotten my cc number, etc. It was almost like he had the email ready because it came immediately after I sent mine to him. He does not respond to further emails. I googled the company to see if this happened to anyone else and found this site with this thread. THIS GUY IS A FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!! |

Maybe you should contact the bank the CC belongs to let them know of this fraudent charge.
We had some unauthorised online charges on ours and had to end up getting a new card/number.
At this busy time of year it's easy for things like this to happen so it pays to be careful where your card ends up etc.

You have got to be kidding me. I know where my card is, he just stole the number. I already got a new card issued and shut down the old one. We are just trying to let people know that this guy is a fraud. Why would all of our numbers get stolen and be used on the same suspicious website for $9.87? And we all got the exact same immediate response? And he does not answer the phone or any further emails? This guy is a crook...and you must be his brother or something since you are sticking up for him. |

Wow calm down there. Maybe go outside, take a deep breath a reading comprehension test and try again?
I also doubt 'Heather' is his brother. =)

The most amazing coincidence is how you all three arrived at this forum and within 5 days found something like this in common. Just sayin'... |

Hi Jeep1996,
We understand that you must be frustrated, but we work hard to be civil to one another here in this community. It seems like heatherd was just trying to help you.
It's good that you want to reach out and warn others, because that is helpful. Can we stick with dogging the bad guys, and leave the personal attacks on our users out of it?
Thanks.

Whatever, I do not come to this forum. I googled template globus.com and found it. I did not personally attack anyone. Obviously, I cancelled the card. I did not need anyone to tell me that. I was just responding to the other people that had the same problem occur this weekend to let them know there is a pattern with this guy and he is obviously a fraud. |

I FOUND this forum because I googled template globus.com. The charge has nothing to do with this website. |

My apologies. Weird stuff sometimes happens here when a bunch of new accounts show up at the same time, and perhaps I was being paranoid. Hope you get your CC issue straightened out and stick around for the photography.
Cheers,
Roxanne

It looks like they changed their business name many times.
