Allow me a little bragging here.

A while back in one of the forums there was a thread about a guy looking for photographs taken with Canon equipment that presented a unique challenge for a book he was working on. I sent him an email and he chose my photo as one of the examples in the book CANON DSLR: The Ultimate Photographer's Guide (Digital Workflow)

Pg 266

ALSO . . .

The Russian version of Architectural Digest did a story on a good friend of mine, Carol Bolton, a furniture designer. She didn't like the photo they took so I sent them mine

The really cool part is that both of these images were DPC entries!

How cool is THAT?

Congrats David! Very cool to see so many DPC'ers get published recently :O)

One question of interest: when you sent these in for publishing... what type of format were they looking for? Did you have to do any kind of re-editing or upsizing?

Thanks!

I sent them the edited files. Each one was edited for the publication. They both sent some rough specs. I'm sure they edited them some more. The Russian AD was cropped pretty wide for the magazine, wider than what I sent.
