if you do it to the whole image i believe it is, as long as theres no selective adjusting. |

You cannot, however, use Photomatix or other HDR and tonemapping programs in Basic. In addition, you cannot add layers that contain any pixel information or masks.

I guess I don't understand why tone mapping is not alright? You are taking a single image and applying the same editing to the whole image. I just read the Basic editing section and it does not list tone mapping or HDR in the "May not" section. Any chance a member of the site council could answer this question or are you a member of the site council? :) |

If you have a specific question for the Site Council - send them an email. But, I think the responses you have seen are pretty clear.
