no not on this shot, these were just candids on an out and about day with the kids.

I shoot *everything* raw. Well... not quite. There's no way to shoot sports raw (too many pictures, too fast, not enough time or disk space).

Everything else is raw, no matter what. The scout motto: Always Be Prepared!

I'm starting to head that way. Which is why I'm frantic about finding a good large storage archive solution. Getting there, just trying to find the time....hard to do while holding an 18 month old. :)

try shadows/highlights. or a multiply layer masked for the face.

Clone stamp and a faded film grain.

Did this quick, but so you get the idea:

Healing brush using the lighter portion of his face.
Slight gaussian blur
Curve adjustment to lighten area
Added 2% noise to the region.
