Dumb question du jour.
I want to print out a page of wallet-sized photos. I don't have any in my wallet at the moment.
What are the typical measurements for wallet-sized photos?

They are 2.5x3.5 at the printing service I use...

That's what I use, too.

I've found that there really doesn't seem to be a "set standard". However, 2.5x3.5 seems to be the most common. So go with that.

2.5x3.5 -- so you get four on a single 5x7 -- or 8 on an 8x10 (2 5x7 fit on an 8x10 as well)

Photoshop has a handy utility to automate that, too. Go to FILE -> AUTOMATE -> PICTURE PACKAGE. I've found that to be a nice tool. The 2.5 x 3.5 size is one of the options there, too.

If you're printing at home .. 8x10s are generally printed on 8.5x11" paper, so you can actually get 9 on a sheet: 2.5 x 3 = 7.5" and 3.5 x 3 = 10.5"
I let ACDSee print my wallets. It's fast and easy. :-)

Since I'm doing these for a client, I'll be using a printer nearby. Their prints are just like what you'd get from having film developed, and the colours are already perfect for my laptop.
Can you believe I've made over $800 so far this month from just two portrait sessions? Only a few hours of fun labour. What a great hobby! :-)
edit.... Oh ya, the first client says she's so happy she's going to tour everyone in her mothers' group past the photos and recommend me.
