This is what I'm giving my mom and stepdad for Christmas. I borrowed their bible and wedding rings while I was home for Thanksgiving and this is what I came up with. I'm going to have it printed and framed, but I want to make sure that it's absolutely perfect before I do it. What do you think of the crop? Does the spine take your eye away from the rings and the scripture? What else does it need? I've been staring at it for so long that I don't trust my own judgement anymore, lol!

Love it and the in focus verse. I don't like the thumb tabs and the spine showing... too distracting.
I would crop it closer, similar to this...

Let's see...
Using PS CS2:
Curves layer, a nice big fat s-curve that looked like:
A slight vignette (Filter, Distort, Lens Correction, bumped the Vignette slider towards darken a ways)
Dodged the center a little bit
A touch more sharpening (USM at 80/.3/0)
I think that was it! |

CROP!
Cuz then I could put it on a T-Shirt as a kind of scriptural way to say "Leave me Alone!" :P
Just funnin. I like Freakin_Hilarious' edit - although I still think mine is more freakin hilarious. |

I like f_h's crop a lot. Very simple and focuses on what I think you were focusing on.
Oh, Art, get me one of those shirts too :-D

| It seems as though the passage should be more prominent. I got lost with the other words, so cropping is a good idea. Possibly, blur out all the other words. |
