If money were no object but time was limited to 3-4 hours some afternoon, what would you do to relax or have some fun?

Go to Chicago, get a luxury skybox at Soldier Field (with buffet), and watch a Bears playoff game.

Money = no object
Time = 3-4 hours

I'd have to stay "local" which, for me, means just outside of Baltimore.
We have horses here!...and water...and nearby mountains. To maximize the time, I'd have to go with the horses.
I'd put on silky underwear and jeans and top-notch tooled leather boots.
I'd ride through woods at a fast trot to get to a clearing.
I'd lounge on a blanket.
There would be a bottle of wine, a basket with Mediterranean cheeses and olives and a loaf of crusty bread. Perhaps some pears.
I would lie down under a shady tree and watch the sky go by with the love of my life.
There would be no sound other than the rustle of the wind and the chirping of birds anticipating the leavings of our picnic.
The sun would dodge in and out between the lazy clouds...or the rain would fall softly on the leaves of the tree, pitter-pattering and spattering, dewy soft upon our faces.
We would contemplate eternity and nothingness and the moment...
...a bug would bite me and return me to the whole.
The snuffling of the horses would set me straight.
I would ride home.
I would park the horse where I park my car...
...and go back to my evening things.

If money were no object, give me the LSO, Berlin or Vienna Phil, a baton, and a score of Tchaikovsky's sixth symphony. Wow.

If time were in abundance (if only!) I am content with a nice panini and a quiet place to sit and read a paper. It's one of life's simplest pleasures for me.

I'm a cheap date -

My ideal afternoon would either be wandering around some secret part of town with my honey or sleeping. But, really, 3-4 hours is too short for a really perfect afternoon. ;)

I would spend the afternoon doing laps on the Nürburgring with a 2008 BMW M3

I think I'd check into a luxury hotel with a great view, order room service and take a nice long hot bath. Then go online and buy stuff until time and money ran out. :-)

I would stand up on a milk crate in the middle of Times Square and sing the entire score from Cat's through a megaphone...and watch as the crowd adored me.

Afternoon sex FTW! Followed by a nice long nap. I assume this 3-4 hours are when the kids are at school...

;-)

I'd spent the whole afternoon buying shares and oil and enjoy my pension the rest of my life.

The future is in water...or plastics...not sure. But you have a great angle on ambition. :)
