The new Zunes are now available.

There are two new flash-based models (4Gb and 8Gb) and a new drive-based 80Gb, in addition to the 30Gb model.

Among other new features is the ability to synchronize wirelessly (802.11b/g).

I hope it works. I was one of the architects for the application processor that's in it.

Hardware or software? What do you do?

systems architect. So both - work out what software needs to run, come up with the processor and hardware architecture that'll make the software run, that sort of thing. Analyze the performance, define the whole shebang. Mostly I worked on the processor and video pipeline (so again, a mix of hardware and software). Did the inital linux port to the first prototypes, too and turned it into a photo frame.

So did you put the hidden code in that causes it to only play The Proclaimers and Simple Minds?
