Ok, I'm a bit behind in posting, but better late than never I guess. So my friend's friend Jaimee Leigh messaged me on Myspace after she saw the shots I took of Adriana and said she wanted some headshots. I thought this was a great opportunity for me to practice working with people for a change, but I was obviously nervous because I'd never done it before. Not to mention the fact that I have NO OTHER equipment other than my camera and handy dandy photoshop. So we went to the park in the afternoon while I was feeling uber-crappy (never try oxycodone!!!) and took some shots on the grass, by a wall, in a dumpster enclosure...yeah, lol. I think considering that I felt like passing out at the time, they came out okay, not amazing, but okay. Tell me which ones you like best and some advice as to how I could do better, besides getting some actual equipment of course :)

Oh, and if you're wondering what I'm charging, I'm only charging for the prints since this was just practice for me, but next time $$$$! :P

I think you did an excellent job, the lighting is nice, and she is very beautiful. I think #2 makes her look like she is sticking out her stomach and #7 is an odd angle to me. I do mostly landscape and nature shots so who am i to critique, but those were the first things I noticed. She will love the pictures.

Very pretty girl. I left some comments on the images. I hope the "suggestions" are taken constructively... there's always so much to learn and the best way is to do exactly what you're doing. Do a shoot, get some feedback, then go do another, and repeat.

Thanks for the comments! About the white shirt...I told her not to bring anything white, but she insisted on wearing it with the mini-jacket, so I eventually caved in :(
oh well, her loss not mine.
