I like commenting on people's older stuff. If I like someone's shot from a recent challenge, I always try to go to their profile and find an older image that grabs me and give it a comment as to why I like it.

I have a technical question about this - other than having memorized how many comments each of my shots has (which will not happen, lol), or going back to check each one on a regular basis (once a week?), how do I know I've rec'd a new comment? |

Mark them as helpful, then you'll know the new ones because you won't have marked them.

| Donna, when you look at your profile page, there are numbers on the top left side that say "Comments received" and "Comments marked helpful" - I mark all comments I get as helpful whether they are or not, and when there's a difference in the numbers, you can tell you've received comments. Click on the number of "Comments received" and you'll get a list of all your comments. If I didn't explain that clear enough, let me know! |

Thanks,  melethia. Very clear - I think there may still be a few things I haven't tried clicking on!
That actually help me find a nice comment on my old Bokeh entry - which ironically said that it deserved more comments.
