I think I have finally caught up with all my comments, as I was four days behind, and have spent the whole day commenting on all these amazing textured images that you have all uploaded.

Thanks everyone for your comments, and I am totally commented out for awhile.

If I have missed anyone, I am so sorry, but I will keep a lookout for any that I have missed.

Day 16 -

This is a close-up macro textured shot of the awesome colored and patterned bark on a tree, at Maryboroughs Queens Park.

Day 15 - Crimped Steel

I joined DPC and this side challenge to work on trying new types of photography, images, etc. I drove over near the river today at lunch trying in a few minutes to find something to shoot. There was a rusty steel retaining wall at the edge of the parking lot and leaves were piled up around it. I had my 60mm micro lens on my camera and took are few quick shots of the edge of the steel so that I would have something. I was really amazed this evening at the beautiful rich colors and patterns in the steel and the richness in the Brokeh. It's not that this image is so special, it's just having a real "aha" when I have photographed something that two weeks ago I would have never noticed. Very neat! I'm enjoying this challenge very much, both the effort to take images each day and seeing what others find to shoot. LG

I'm getting further and further behind on my commenting...sorry fellow texture fans! My mother in law went into the hospital on Tuesday with shortness of breath and now has blood in her lungs and is being tested for Multiple Myeloma. She will get a bone marrow test done this morning so hopefully we will know something soon. Here are two shots that will catch me up on my photos, but I'm way far behind on comments.
