Mony Python video...
There are some subjects that always seem to knock the voters out and quite often ribbon no matter how often they appear, anywhere.
Always great shots (usually) and certainly ones that make you slap your forehead and say "aw geez...there's the blue...(again)"
For some guys it's like shooting ducks in a pond and that's where that video clip comes in.
I wish I had third world subjects...exotic women (veiled or not), sage-like men...Asia...Africa...
Where would you like to go or what subject would you like to shoot that you think you could knock'em out of the park with? |

I can almost guarantee that a pic of someone beating a school girl would score well. :-)
As far as what I want to shoot, it has nothing to do with DPC and wouldn't score well here either. I like shooting pinup and boudoir, neither of which DPC appreciates as a whole.

Peasant farmers in eastern Austria (if you can still find them) or Hungary. I would love to shoot intimate portraits of old world Europeans connected to farming. |

I really like what I shoot so I wouldn't change my style. It's served me well so far and continues to do so (outside of DPC, of course...lol.) What I would change, though, is my ability to think things through. I am able to see artistically but I lack good conceptual skills. So, I would want to follow De Sousa around for as long as I could and just absorb everything he would be willing to teach me about conceptualizing a subject. I think it would not only help my photography but would come in handy in other areas in my life, as well. |

I would like to take photos in outer space, a huge battle scene cast with all little people, cadavers would be neat, penguins, Would love to shoot on a godzilla movie set, a series on factory workers and machinery, anything underwater, and perhaps zombie porn......along with a million other thingss I can't think of right now. |

I like architecture so I would love to be able to shoot more of it. Austin is kind of boring.

Come to DC - one guest room ready and available.
Of course, while we have great architecture, most angles have been shot roughly 20 billion times before. Finding new shots is the challenge.

You should go downtown some time, they keep building new and interesting bits. |

I would like to hang around any photographer that works for (or gets their images used for) the Audubon Society. Like Tim Fitzharris. I'd like to figure out how these guys plan their trips (where/when to go to a place), how they set up, make their images, what they do afterwards (pp if they do much of it and so on). Then I'd like to go along on shoots here in the West. I'm always trying to get images on the fly so to say, and I really need to figure out how to plan these things much more carefully. And the Audubon Society's images just blow me away. |
