Here's my holiday wish;
1) That people would start calling it Christmas again.

I am not Christian but I really wish people call it Christmas. In the name of politically correct this is getting ridiculous. It is Christmas for Jesus' sake. |

Wow, this is neat.. I missed last year's so this is a new idea to me and I love it. I hope there's something in here that I can grant.
My wishes, some of which I know can't come true, others which might:
1) For Calgary to be less cold. I'm not used to it... burrr.
2) One of those really nifty hats that is also attached to a scarf! I've only seen that for sale in Gaia store so I'm not sure they actually sell those in most places.. hmm. YAAAAAY
3) A pet. *cuddle cuddle purr*
4) A full sized (I've got a six inch or so one, very cute!) easy to use tripod!
5) TCGuru said a wacom tablet and I think I do too :-)
6) For the presence of mind and emotional stability to let everyone who has helped me know how amazing I think they are and how grateful I am
edit for grammar

I have no real needs, but some wants...
1. Since I have started shooting RAW (just this week) my 512MB cards are no longer enough. I would love a couple of 1 or 2 gig CF cards.
2. One of my batteries has died and no longer holds a charge. I would love a second BP-511 battery.
3. The idea of funky socks appeals to me, I would love funky socks.
4. Assorted props and backgrounds, the stranger the better.
Now let me read the rest of this thread to see if I can fulfill anyones wishes.
Edit to add:
5. I love the idea of postcards from around the world that has been thrown out by others.
6. the ability to fulfill someones elses wish.
7. If not a cure, then at least a maintenance for all those suffering from MS.

1. Continued decent health for me and my children
2. Emotional strength
3. Peace
4. To continue to raise my boys alone without any of us dwelling on the fact that we are alone
5. Photo postcards from my DPC friends around the world
6. The ability to grant at least a few wishes from this list
7. More hours in a day
8. A private reading with John Edwards or that lady whose mom was the Queen's psychic (hey, it's a thought, anyway!)
9. A hot-stone massage
10. 8 contiguous hours of sleep

1 - Diana ice tea glasses (the company that distributes them in Canada does not list them on their page but the product is shown on the boxes). I have the wine glasses and drinking glasses, would love to have the ice tea glasses. Even if someone could find a place where I could order them it would be great.
//www.belfor.ca/index.php?s=stemware
2 - A copy of "The Selfish Giant" (this version: //www.imdb.com/title/tt0067731/) on DVD or if someone can show me where to download it online that would be great.
3 - Bullseye candies.
//www.thecandybaron.com/detail.html?1001
Someone sent me some last year as a fulfillment of my holiday wish (sorry I cannot remember who you are, Lori I think). I recently gave up chocolate so candies that I like are few and far between. I had these when I was visiting Washington, Dc. I have never seen them in the stores around here. (these are on the way thanks to Kelli!)
4 - A Christmas ornament from Edmonton, Alberta. I collect Christmas ornaments from every place I visit. When I was in Edmonton in March 2006 I looked everywhere for one but could not find one.
5 - A mouse for my wacom tablet (model number ET-0405-U). I have the tablet and the pen, but the mouse broke.
6 - To spend Christmas with my family.
7 - A fish-eye lens
8 - A ring-flash

a couple of categories...
Realistic-
Anything with a fleur-de-lis on it (it's my logo)
Little skull or skeleton figurines
Weird, wacky, funny fridge magnets
Postcards from DPC'ers all over the world
A way to make a little extra money for Christmas...editing photos or something similar.
Health and happiness for my family, friends and my DPC family.
The ability to fulfill someone's Christmas wish.
Unrealistic- (just in case someone wins the lottery) :)
A fisheye lens
An iPod
More memory for my laptop
A dependable car
Anything from my Amazon Wishlist.

Thank you. Everyone can help if they feel inclined to do so :)
If you would just link to the blog where the calendars will be sold on your website or bio here on dpc, it might help us gain viewers which I am SURE will lead to sales. The web address is:

Unfortunatly I can't do anything about your first wish(not for lack of trying) other than warn you that it's going to get a lot worse before it gets any better.
Your second wish should help with the cold and I'd be glad to do that for you. Is this the hat you were talking about? ORLY Hat

WooHoo!!! Oh, and... oops - forgot to post my own list:
1. To find a really good graphic artist, who can accept my incredibly meager budget AND provide a fitting logo / brand design. (example - Laura's website : simple but elegant)
2. A very small softbox (think 9x16, or 10x24, etc.) - to be used on hospital visits for NILMDTS.org. Possibly the ones designed for the Nikon SB-800, though not mandatory... I'd like to do my best for these families.
3. Help with inexpensive marketing ideas / places to get our name out a little quicker.
4. For my wife( rossglenda) AND my very good friend ( TCGuru) to receive a visit to a day-spa. They are both VERY hard working women who are always thinking of others, and I just think they both deserve it. Besides, I feel like I don't do enough in this world, compared to them...
Billy

I designed logo for //www.whizlabs.com/
I do not know what do you mean by brand design. Could you elaborate.
I am not professional artist but could find time for your work, if you wish. I have designed logos and taken care of publicity for small events. |

I'll mix the realistic with the unrealistic, lol.
1. A good prognosis on 11/30.
2. Finding a temp job for the month of December after my good prognosis, since the job I had before getting sick won't start back up till January.
3. Anything Pokemon for my son. Generously being sent by Louis (Louis) and Judy ( Jutilda)
4. A membership renewal, it's up right before Christmas and won't be possible for me unless 1&2 happen, and probably not even then. - Received! Thank you Laurie L1
5. For my 29 year old cousin to be cured of his cancer (stomach and esophagus).
6. Someone's hand me down dslr, with a kit lens. OMG! Deb ( Melethia) generously offered me her Rebel! YAY! I really didn't expect this one to happen.
7. For some family member to kick in and help take care of my grandmother, since 7 days a week is killing me.
Isn't this just the best group in the world!!
