My absolute favourite type of food.
At the other end of the scale, I'm a big fan of haggis, too.
Don't much like celery though. |

...never tried possum, though some of my neighbors have / still do.
Grits? YUMM!! I eat them at least 2-3 times per week, especially in the winter. I've had them several ways, but currently prefer cheese & butter. Previous versions include:
1. Sugar
2. Bacon
3. Tomato gravy, served with fried fish (a Florida specialty; usually an evening meal).
I like most foods including raw oysters, but will never try chicken gizzards again (yuch!) Oh, I've also helped 'collect' about 50 Rocky Mountain Oysters on my uncle's cattle ranch, but did not try them myself...

Eat most things put in front of me, but just can't imagine eating squid or octopus!! Nor any cockles, mussels or oysters!
Frog's Legs or Snails! Uck!
Slimy food? Big Mac? Kentucky Fried Chicken...no fast food.
Simple home cooked is best.

Girl, you're missing out. Sushi rocks.
My wife doesn't eat red meat or mushrooms. Sounds simple enough but can be very difficult eating out or buying frozen dinners. You'd be surprised how often mushrooms show up in prepared foods. |

Folks!
Let me be plain: Its cool to have fun, and this is a rather entertaining thread, however don't be offensive unnecessarily. Its not funny, it is disruptive, and it makes things way less fun.
(if you're wondering what I am talking about, I hid a few posts that were beyond the boundary of good taste)

That's not very nice, you took away my catch phrase.

On a more serious (but equally less amusing) note, i've never eaten rice pudding.
Funny, but not "haha" funny. |

I'd go one further - I would never eat anything that I've seen while it was still alive.
I wouldn't begin to know where to start with foods I've never eaten, but there are lots of things mentioned here that I've never even heard of.

I've had thymus though. Was a lot like scallops. Interesting texture.
Not a big fan of liver, myself. |

Sushi is a no no for me... I like food heavily cooked and burnt beyond recognition. I've spat out prawns.. actually stayed in a hotel that had caviar[sp] served for breakfast so tried that.. till now I have stayed away from some meats like alligator or rabbit. and cow tongue |
