I have the oddest desire to live a very very long life, but...

Based on the wrinkles and grey hair, I can honestly say I hate growing old.

YIKES!

What a great thread!
A few things irritate/annoy/bother me...
1. I CAN NOT stand nail files, the sound they make when you use them, the texture of them are all just horrible!
2. All the shirts hanging in my closet are arranged by color.
3. Things have to be put back where they're supposed to be.
4. I'm not a big people person.
5. My room is an absolute mess but I can usually find anything I'm looking for within 2 minutes.

I'm sure there's more... that's a start though! lol

Does this mean you don't like big people, or you just aren't crazy being around people in general. ;)

Are you sure you're not from Pittsburgh? That's one of our signature idiosyncrasies!

I like chips on my sandwich and the only time I was ever in PA at all was one night I was stranded in the airport.

I can't spend the night in Ohio or I get intestinal distress. Every time. I can go for the day and be fine.

If I spend the night, I get what I've come to call "Ohio Ass".

LOL, no no, I'm just not crazy about being around alot of people.

OH, thought of another one, Spazmo99's post made me think of it. Every time I get near or into Dover, DE I start sneezing & I get all conjested, EVERY time, never fails.

I have CDO. It's like Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, except with the initials in the correct order.

Actually, I've never been diagnosed, but I'm sure I do have it a little. I'm a lot less particular about things being just so, since our son was born. I still find myself doing things like getting cup lids from the middle of the stack, not touching public handles, etc. I too have bills organized from largest to smallest, and always the same direction. Probably always will. I can interlock my fingers (palms together), then extend my arms out in front of me, palms facing away, and touch the insides of my elbows together.

I like to keep a database of people I "meet" online. You know stuff like what their favorite color is, when their birthday is, what they do for a living, where they live, who their family members are, what they are afraid of - you know, fun stuff like that. I really love the threads that start off with things like "What other forums do you visit?" - talk about a goldmine of personal information! And threads like "Tell me stuff about yourself that only your closest friends know".

I also like taxidermy and making life size wax sculptures of people.

Anyway, I'll be watching seeing you later. bye.

Exactly! I wonder if that's why a couple of you don't like telephones.

Posting comments online terrifies me! I can't see your face, so I can't tell how you are reacting to me and that totally freaks me out! Being on this site is a major deal for me. This thread made me feel better. Thanks.

I have mild synesthesia. That's basically a cross-wiring of the senses, ie some report 'seeing' music or 'hearing' colours.

Some words spoken or written, evoke a certain (mostly pleasant) flavour in my mouth and usually trigger an almost Pavolvian craving for whatever it is that word may invoke. For example, the word 'done' tastes like black licorice, which I love. 'Absolutely' tastes like cold cooked macaroni. The word 'some' tastes like Pixy stix. 'Already' is Chef BoyArdee's Beefaroni.

On a more normal note, from the ages of 17-20 I didnn't eat a single banana. Don't know why, just didn't, but eat tem regularly now.

Ooo...that's a good one! I will also rebuild sandwiches - and I will also rewrap burritos if the filling is not even :)

I wipe standing up. I thought everyone did it that way until on a morning radio show they started talking about it and only 1 stood while wiping.

I've tried adopting the other "method" but just can't seem to get the "dynamics" of it down. I think it's just one of those things that how ever you were potty trained is how you are for life.

I recently ordered contact lenses to alleviate the problem of using two pair of glasses, but they remain at the optometrists as I can't put them in or take them out. So.... I continue to practice sticking my fingers in my eyes! I know I can do this thing ....eventually!!

I love peanut butter and lettuce sandwiches!

I owned Canon cameras and sold them? 300D & 30D

I take brilliant photos but somehow the camera always gets it wrong!

In my family, we were always told that a cup of tea (how British!) on a hot day would cool us down! No-one said that you would sweat for half an hour while drinkng it, but that you did eventually feel better. I think there is some truth in this statement. I find drinking cold beer in the winter works well, but I do pee more often:))

People eat peppers in Central and South America so they sweat, then the air hits the sweat and cools them off.

People eat ice cream in Russia because the fat keeps them warm.

This is well documented (at least I saw it the Discovery Channel!)
