not sure if they have coupons for upgrades. What is the pro-rated price for you to upgrade.

I don't know. I don't know what the pro rate is. I go to upgrade and after filling all the info out the only option is "Try It". Which I assume is signing me up for it. |

Hi Bryan,
I encourage you to use Smugmug help. When I upgraded eons ago, they charged me full freight and just changed my renewal date. There was a small pro-rate, but it was a refund of the standard fee for x months instead of a prorata rate of the Pro fee for the remaining y months on the original renewal date.
They may have changed since then, though, I really don't know. |

go to your control panel
click the settings tab and there should be a link for upgrade options.
Click that and see what it says.

For the Pro account it says; $1.11 now, $149.95/year new sub. rate
Does this mean that my account is about to renew so it's only $1.11 now. Then in like 2 weeks they'll charge me $149.95?

yeah but you don't need the PRO account to customize. You only need the Power user account. which is $59.95

I can't block the pics from being saved with the power account though. The only thing I can do is add that code that pops up a warning right? |

it will pop up the warning and they won't have a right click menu.

Upgrade and try it for a few days. Paste that code and see if you like the new features. You can fully customize your website and add a slideshow and other stuff. Check out my site and many other smumgmug users around here.
It is worth the extra to get to customize. If you don;t like it then downgrade before they renew you.
I will be around to help you if needed and you can find plenty of help here and at //www.dgrin.com
