This thread was inspired by atsxus (Stephanie) after seeing her wonderful slideshow she had put together I wanted to start a thread for those out there who have made their musical photo slide shows to post them on here.

I will go ahead and start...

This slide show contains about 1% animal. That seems out of place. You could make it all vegetarian. You could make one with just people or just animals. Or 50%-50% of two combinations. That̢۪s just my opinion.

Some are great and some are not too great, photos. I was looking for a Sunset-fading out for the ending, maybe that̢۪s too, common. Maybe some ends of something, persons place, or location.

I created one slide show so far and will be making a lot more, with an excellent product I bought: Photodex ProShow Product Comparison Guide

It does Zoom/in-out and panning of each image, which gives the show more motion/animation. It has many fades to choose from, but I think it is still common to do just simple Crossfades, none of the fancier-stuff.

What Software did you use for creating your slide show?

About 3000 (3013 I think to be exact) Shot over 4 days. Mix of 1dII and point and shoot. It is every frame I took over the trip, none missing, all in sequence. There might be a few post-edited versions thrown in (B&W and the like) but basically its everything, as is. I actually made it as a DVD and sent it to the various people I'd spent the weekend with.

It would be nice if you posted what program you all used to make these slide shows. I have Nero version but it runs so slow and has errors every once in a while to where it isn't enjoyable to use.
