1. She's my daughter
2. It was her birthday yesterday
3. She got a digital camera for it (which she has not yet changed her details on her profile for)...Sadly not a dSLR but still a step up
4. If she doesnt win then I know I will have to cough up for membership |

You have until Sunday at 8pm DPC Server time to email me a photo to rexdpc at gmail dot com taken by you. These photos will be posted in a thread for other DPC users to vote on. No one will know what photo belongs to who to make sure everyone gets a fair shake. Once the contest is over I will delete your photo so no worries. Let's stay within DPC Advanced Editing rules to just to make sure everything is fair. Make sure to include your username in your email to me.
Voting will take place for four days as well and the person with the most votes will be announced and given the free DPC membership.
So for Dates:
Submission Dealine: 10/28/2007 8PM
Voting Dates: 10/28/2007 9PM thru 11/01/2007 9PM
Winner will be announced then.

rex, this is a wonderful gesture on ur part to offer a gift membership to registered users. It feels great to see my name being suggested as one of the participants. i would not like to participate. There might be lot of deserving photographers on dpc who might not be able to afford the yearly membership. i really would like to see one amongst them get it.
and folks...i am going to take off from dpc for atleast 2 months from now...i am having a right-shoulder surgery and will not be able a camera for sometime...and that really sucks :(
anyways, rex, great job...i wish such generous act continue on dpc to help talented photographers. |

ok let me remind everyone we are staying uder advanced rules for DPC. I only need one photo per participant. You can resize before you send to me of I will resize it if needed. But better if you do it.

only nine hours left and only four entries received. I would hate that someone missed out on this becasue the full 10 were there and not all 10 entered.
