I bought myself an old Yashica MF camera today and was actually kind of impressed with the results of my first roll of film.
Main Post Chapel V is the digital rendition of one of those shots. My photo lab put the negatives onto a cd for me and I adjusted levels a tiny bit (the guy at the photo lab actually commented that the exposure looked good...shock of shocks).
Any comments would be welcome...I am especially interested in composition and exposure comments.

Thank you very much. I agree about the steeple needing to be closer to the top of the frame.
Believe it or not, that blue is natural...the sky today has been gorgeous.

Yup...while I waited too because they weren't sure they could put it on the CD for me. Cost me $8 for the devloping and the cd.

I would love to have a medium format cam but I just can't afford one before I get my new digital. I like the 120 and 220 roll film format and i like the larger negatives. What kind of cam did u get?

It's a Yashicamat 115. I was really impressed with the clarity of the negatives...any problems I see on them are absolutely my fault. I paid $140 for it at a pawn shop. The owner of the camera shop was nice enough to give me an empty film reel and show me how to load the film, etc. He also said he was very familiar with the camera and if I had any questions, I should just come in and ask them.
