Thanks. He was sat on the ground just feet away from a pond and allowed me to come in as close as I liked. He was quite happy to be picked up afterwards when I put him back (just for safe-keeping as there were a few kids around).
I've just seen the new challenge 'Macro' and just wondered what you might have scored this? |

It certainly is! Great shot with plenty of impact. Good focus on the eyes, but a little more DOF wouldn't go amiss as the nose looks out of focus. Given this, I'd probably give it a 6 or 7. With the nose in focus, it would be an 8 or 9.
