I have a collection of photos of the small New England town that I live in. The local cable station has hours and hours of "dead tiime". They are going to run my slide show several times every day just to fill up space. It's not a money maker as the station has a small budget but my name goes up every time it shows.
Anyone with a "set' of photos could do the same. Local scenary, animals. trains. Try approaching your cable station.

BUT - I'm having trouble geting the show into MPEG format - I went from iphoto to Quick time perfectly but from Quick time to MPEG made everything psychadelicly pixilated. ANy suggestions?

windows movie maker is a good program. It came with my windows operating system (Windows Media Center). I don't know if it comes with other OS.
Also in some software products there is an option when saving if you plan on viewing images on a TV. You may want to look into that area. You problem may be how your saving.
I'm not very up on slide or movie programs (sorry I'm not much help). |

thanks - I may just have to find a PC person to do it for me, though it must be possible to make an MPEG slide show with a Mac.
