Mate, my uncle got a shot with a 5MP P&S that made my jaw drop. It's less the camera, more the photographer.

So, I entered a photograph in Fauna but it won't let me enter another photo in Flora....I didn't realize these two were connected somehow. Is this normal?

Yup. You can only enter one "open challenge" per week. You can still enter the member challenge, though.

The two open challenges every week are mutually exclusive. Therefore, you can enter one but not the other.

Works for me....I'm a newbie and didn't know all the "rules". I must say, I've been a member for a couple of months now and I am really pleased with how this is set up and how much I've been able to learn about something I've done for several years. Great group!

A vista of poppies, rolling hills of heather...these are landscapes, but also Flora. IMHO.

It most certainly is Flora. Although it has no flowers, no leaves and no seeds. It is Flora.

I got my shot in with 3 hours to spare. (that has never happened before) I think it's kind of cool. I just got my camera back after 6 months(My shutter was busted) so it fun and yet a little frustrating to shoot again.

Technically, it's in a different kingdom than plants, though for this challenge I'd certainly include fungi :)

well the site i seen the mushroom as flora said that it was a fungi actually but it is also considered* flora because it grows like a plant. or something like that

No flowers in my shot. Definitely going to tank. Perhaps the title will keep it afloat? Hoping for a 5. That would be sweet.

I've literally had my photo entered and ready to go for almost a week and 20 minutes ago I totally changed my mind and went with something else!! If it doesn't score well I'm really going to be mad at myself!

thats all im going by, my title is all thats good in this picture, when i stumbled upon the mushrooms i was really excited, but then taking pictures of them didnt turn out so good:P
