Seeing the work of talented photographers always inspires me. The October issue of Shutterbug recommended a visit to travel photographer Glen Allsion's website and I just checked it out. Some of his work is just amazing. He apparently spent nine years traveling the world with just his gear (and no permanent address) to get these images.

Without knowing this guy, I am dreaming a life like that since I saw DPC for the first time, few weeks ago.
However, I cannot hide that I was a bit deluded after visiting his website.. the stuff published here on DPC is much more inspirational to me.
IMO Allison focused on the sheer beauty of the places he visited as tourist and I find that perspective (tourism) boring just after very few days, imagine after nine years.
Should I bet my life on it, I would look for something more.. much more, than a perfect postcard-like view.
For instance, I would look for commonalities in places which do not have, apparently, anything in common....
