Not a camera I was ever interested in- and using it just sealed that lol. Course it's hard when I'm used to adjusting things manually on my camera, and then having to figure out how to do it on a different one.
Things I noticed- extremely noisy- as in when you pressed the shutter button it sounded like a regular 35mm camera but even noisier. Why is that?
It just felt kind of clunky in my hands all together- I think the body is a little bigger than my Oly so that could be why.
I didn't like the set up of the controls either. Again- probably because I'm used to my Oly lol. I kept pushing the shutter button when I thought I was pushing the bottom to adjust the aperture.
I will give it this. With the onboard flash, it took some great pictures. Is there a button to pop the flash up? My friend who had the camera said you have to pop it up yourself. Never heard of that. Her husband bought the camera for her a while ago and she doesn't know anything about it or how to use it- other then in the presets lol. So we're going out here soon so I can give her a few tips.

Yes, you have to raise the flash yourself. I got one earlier this year and got some good shots with it but have just upgraded to the 40D and the 40D owns. The sony is noisy in another regard, at any iso higher than 200 I found it to be very noisy.
