I just looked out my window and this is what I saw! No wonder I have to refill that feeder so often!

You could always tie a long string to the branch he's on and then pull on it when he has his head in the cage. :-)

I want to get a bird feeder to feed the birds and squirrels.

Fall is the perfect time to prune trees.
One less branch could give you a better view of the bird feeder.

I never begrudge the li'l guys a bit of seed, and the birds don't seem to mind sharing :)
But when they come in the house and help themselves, then launch themselves onto someone if they don't find anything to eat... well, THAT is a bit much! :)

You should email the company who made it and send them the photo. You probably won't get your money back, but maybe they'll send you some free bird seed or something.

I had a friend once that complained there weren't enough blue M&M's in his bag and got a free 1 pound bag.

I'd be curious what the company would have to say for themselves, heh.

Are we talking about the squirrels or the men?

My guess would be they would say to read the instructions :)

Lol, he was pretty cute, I guess I'm OK with sharing the bird seed with him if he continues to give me photo ops! :) The birdfeeder is really high up in the tree, it's right outside our second story bedroom window. I actually took the pictures sitting on my bed with a 75-300mm lens. I keep the window super clean so that I can take pictures of the birds through the glass. I'm thinking that the squirrel might be more entertaining than the birds though!

I read this insane blog post on how this guy genetically tested the m&m by taking two between his fingers and crushing them, one usually survives. when he got the "winner" out of the bag he would send it to m&m/mars, with a note reading "use for breeding purposes"

he got a free 1 pound bag too :)
