Ok, since modem users are the main excuse used to NOT increase the size... just how many modem users are there and how many would be affected? It will probably be either less or more than people think.
And if you can find out who it is and cut their phone lines... problem solved. ;D
I say what ever will fit within 100k file size is fair game. :D

Yes, but with a double "p" -- Hippocrates, who was probably no more or less a hypocrite than any other doctor. |

Yeah, it does. A lot of the jagged edges that show up on diagonal lines in 640px shots aren't there at 800px. For that alone I'd vote for larger images.

But aren't doctor's sworn to to hold up those crates? I haven't seen one yet who could even lift one. The world just stopped making sense quite awhile back.
...and FWIW, I vote for NO LIMIT on image size. I want to see how far my scrollbars will stretch before they snap. |
