Love it? Hate it? Can't see it?
My web address has a www in front of it so I've had a splash page at the non-www location for a while - to catch lost people. Today I decided to fun it up with that little intro.

Works fine on my firefox.
What microphone did you use to record that? - It sounds like an old wax cylinder. ;p |

I just dislike the clip- I'm not really an "extraordinaire" person.
The rest of the site looks fine.

Actually, the sound quality of the clip is kinda nasty. I hear you saying "Randy" instaead of "Cindi."

Its the downsizing for web that sounds like butt. It was recorded with my digividcam and the original is huge. Now that I know I CAN do such a thing, I'll work on doing it a lil better & save at a slightly higher quality.

I want a more exciting clip. Maybe with some commando-ninja moves in the nude.

2 questions:
- why do your flashes go dark when you take the photo? mine usually flash :P
- how many times did you have to re-shoot the video? :P |

K... now I need to film Slippy doing nude ninja moves? C'mon down, Slippy!! It was your idea! :P
Hann, its the modeling lights going off when i flash, not sure why the vid cam doesn't catch the flash itself though.
I shot it about 5 times (whole thing is about 4 mins long) before I got one that didn't look horrid or that didn't include a dog or cat passing through the scene. lol

ah ofcourse.. but that's weird indeed, that the video didn't catch the flashes. |

Because when the camera detects a bright flash it tries to compensate for exposure so you get a brief 'dark' period after the flash triggers. It probably didn't record the actual flash as it went off between frames.
edit: actually, I could be totally wrong.

You're so smart! I just looked at a few of my outtakes and it appears your answer is more correct than mine. The modeling lights do go off, but the camera IS compensating for the flash and that's what you see in the lil film. :D

Cool, but definitely not a fan of it. I usually hate anytime a video/audio file plays automatically when I go to a webpage - and like someone else said, the sound is horrendous haha. |

I thought the little clip was cute. You're right though, the sound is kind of poopy. |
