It's sharp right where it needs to be. Things to play with on the next go around: lighting and angles and shallower Depth of Field.

Please, At the minimum! Scale 1-10, 10 being the best!

I would give it a 6 or 7. I do like the color and focus but do feel that the composition seems to be lacking a bit. Maybe a tighter crop or a wider crop with the flower more towards the lower right of the frame with more negative space in the upper right frame. I will also agree that a shallower DOf would help blur out the background as well, keeping focus more on the flower. Still a nice photo with vibrant colors! |

The colors and detail are quite fine and I like the comp. The subject does not look cramped. The thread looks a bit cramped since you put a full size image in it...but you can fix that in an easy step or two... like this: [thumb]589298[/thumb] |
