i just entered in Candy. Glad thats over i must have ate 5 lbs of chocolate this wee trying to get something. I never did get one the way i wanted it i ran out of time so it will have to do. Hope it gets at least a 5

i had an idea for candy, and the pic just sucked so horrendously that i'm not submitting, it's one thing to submit an image i know won't do wel but is a good photo, but this was just bad.

i was so happy with the idea too - candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker.

sad. :~(

just took the 'test the nation' quiz on cbc - 'mind your language'. i got 90% - not too bad.

edit - i can spell, but i can't type...

Anyone else unhappy with the member challenges lately? The last three (including the one just announced for next week) haven't motivated me much at all.

Maybe it's just me.

I had no interest in Candy and did not enter. Deja Vu sounds like fun to do, but might be a bore to vote on...

but I *loved* motivational poster...

In for Candy it is keeping my suck image up. Had fun doing it, and that is my new goal have fun taking pictures and trying to replace my top five.

A request for comments and/or help from Team Suckers:

I recently jointed the Charleston, SC art guild, and will have the opportunity to present up to 10 pieces of my photography on September 22 to the guild jury. If I am successful, I will be eligible to participate in all guild sponsored shows, the Charleston Art Guild Gallery, and numerous other venues. I would much appreciate any suggestions on images from my portfolio for submission.

Thanks much for your help - I remember when Snaffles (Susan) was selecting photos for stock she offered up her delicious brownie recipe as bait :-) I've got a pretty mean brownie recipe as well and hope maybe that will entice a few people to take a peek at my portfolio on my behalf? The brownies really are yummy...
