Everythin seems in place.
Not much you could do to improve your photo
as the detail and focus are fine.
Maybe as a Photographer you could have drawn a Little emotion from
her.
Dont worry.

Lee,
Hope you don't mind, but I took a stab at tweaking it:
It seemed a little too warm in tone, and a little lacking in contrast. I really like the composition, and the background, and her expression. I think it's a wonderful portrait.
I put a rough outline of the editing on the edit.
ETA:
And per some of the comments on Lee's original, a version with the red strap cloned out:
Honestly I didn't find the strap to be that big a distraction, and not sure if I like the version with it removed better.

I understand the idea of the dead on center composition. The one thing I would really like to see here is a shot that has her head turned to the side a bit. It looks like she has a really nice jaw/facial structure that you can't really see because her chin blends right into her neck. Just a thought though, its still nice as is. |

Thanks for all of your input and critiques everyone!
Kirbic, if you could send me either the settings you used on your adjustment layers (approximately) or possibly an action (minus the sharpening) that I could use so that I can print it out and compare at full resolution at A4 size. I like what you did but I also think that what I see on my monitor and what I have printed out may be different than what you see. I'm curious to see how your edit would look printed.
Thanks so much everyone this is great,
