Ok. $$$ is ready, but nobody has it for sale yet. :/ Sounds like October release.

This is going to be a LONG wait. :)

p.s. - Haven't decided if I'm selling the 5D yet. May keep it for a backup?

Cool! Thanks, I'll check it out. My first place to look was B&H, they have an alert system, but it needs to be available for backorder first.

I think for 12MP over 6MP, and 5fps, better high-ISO (though not as good as the D300 :P ), it's certainly an attractive upgrade for the KM faithful.

I dunno....no sample photos yet....but there's rumors that the sensor might be the same as what's in the D300 ;-)

*doh!* Didn't check the sample link :-) Whoops! Though I prefer seeing dpreview's test shots, as they're generally the same photo. Makes it easier to compare/contrast IMO.

At the Sony website it says a release date of Sept 28, on Amazon it said Dec 15.
