Well I'm now upto 2 comments after 112 votes (thanks for the kind words LevT), but my score is still struggling. it has currently settled just above 6 - but I'm really not confident that it won't go lower.
Is anyone out there doing well on this challenge ? anyone rising steadily up towards the top ?
Give me a wave on the way past if you are :- )

I don't know what you consider "the top." The highest mine reached was a 6.3, but not better than that. Maybe speed is just a tough challenge? |

6.25 for me, but I was getting higher on the first day. It's been steady ever since. Not really that high, but one of the higher scores in this thread- so far... |

I may have the same issue. Got some really good comments, but the last one says "No composition" - which I find hysterical since I can see such and obvious "rule of 3rds" going on, both horizontal and vertical!
But don't worry about your score, too much. This is my worst score on any challenge, even though I don't think it's my worst effort (just my most out-on-a-limb).

I am doing reasonably well (6.54 and 7 comments (including one "OK" :)) after 122 votes, but I was at 7 on the first day and have been losing steam slowly but steadily, so I'll probably meet you somewhere near 6 before the end...

Do you know how many people have never hit 6.5, or even 6.0 for that matter?
As for me, it's climbing a bit. Quite positive, sympathetic comments overall. There's some stuff I would've done under advanced rules, and while people have noted it, they also explicitly acknowledge I couldn't in their comments.

| I've seen at least one that I could see getting voted down because current events have increased the sensitivity of the subject matter, but I think it's a good shot, so I hope it doesn't get voted down based on that. |

I did vote a little bit, I have to say I was disappointed. The quality is not good, only few of them stood out, but most of them looked as if 'sharpless is august concept'.
I know all the people who entered love their photo, but I would suggest look at it after 2 more challenges and you will understand what I meant.
Some of the photos were really good though (as usual). |
