Igor Siwanowicz
I am not a great fan of bug shots, but his stuff is
abslutely stunning. Great posing, exquisite lighting, and everything else that is required for a fine portraiture!

I LOVE those.. and here is my only bug picture from a guest who visited my house yesterday. I let him go after I took his picture...

Igor is too studio for me. Wonderful shots but not what I like, I like insects in their natural environment. Check this site, insect photography at its best, in the field.

no it didnt, oifnet blocks everything related to photo. luckly not dpc :) |

actually, I hate insects in their natural environment, especially mosquitoes, flies, and cockroaches :). Much prefer looking at the pictures...

Ha, glad someone posted a link to Mark Plonsky's work. He's my all-time favorite insect photog as well. |
