Hope you enjoy your "punishment"! My punishment in the speed free study was placing "Turd" from last. Ack! Reverse trolls rule!

I think purposely going for the brown (every frigging challenge) is cheating!

Yeah, I agree, actually. Mob, what say you? Toss Charliebaker to the wolves or declare him the winner?

And David, your PM doesn't fit the rules as stated in the first post. Even if we agree you won, you only get to pick some item, or a range of items from which people pick one, to use in the next challenge entry.

You don't get to demand that everyone shoot for last place simply because you get a kick of out it.

Here's mine, definitely not the winner:

Score: 5.4709

I wasn't too happy about going for the brown, either. It's just not what I felt I signed up for (which matches what Jeff has just posted).

Best,

Rob

Edited to add the score.

Wolves, wolves, wolves!!

(Oh, sorry, I'm not involved in this thread. =) But it's obvious (from the number and content of comments) that his image/vote-manipulation was not appreciated by the voting public.

Thanks Sara,

By the way your photo in this challenge was amazing.

I'm enjoying sipping on the fine pinot noir whine being served up in this thread. Since some of you seem to have quite an aversion to the DPC basement, I've changed my mind regarding your "punishment". Please disregard the first PM sent August 19th. I've just sent out a new PM to all the Side Challenge "winners". I hope you'll enjoy your new "punishment".

Dancing with wolves,

charliebaker

P.S. To correct routerguy666's erroneous statement regarding "purposely going for the brown every frigging challenge", my track record (like everyone on DPC) is public and clearly shows a mere 7% of challenges in which I aimed for the brown (13 challenges of 97), and actually only hitting the true septic tank of brown 11 times. You must have been confusing me with the true Master of DPC Brown, Mr. Whiterook.

This new punishment will be more enjoyable, but almost as effective at achieving the brown as the first. Still, we asked for it, and thank you for giving us a choice. Can you see 15 shots of a belt buckle, or whatever, in the fill the frame challenge?
08/21/2007 01:16:24 AM · #65
Okay, Charliebaker, you win!

In the future, I'll be more specific that deliberately going for brown isn't the right idea for these side challenges.

Your new punishment works for me. :)

I've got my punishment shot for the Fill the Frame challenge. After the voting is complete, how about posting the punishment and all the shots here, just to finish things off.

I'm in too Charliebaker, I have accepted the challenge! :D

Yeah I am in...I don't like your options...and I personally think it is foolish to shoot for the brown...but that is my opinion. I don't like the punishment you gave us...but I took the challenge...so I will begrudgingly see it through...but don't expect me to go down without a fight.

I'm in; no sense in repeating what others have said, though I generally concur with the sentiments expressed.

Don't know about the rest of you, but I love my F the F shot. It was fun working with the restrictions. Can't wait to show it to you.

Wonderful, Count me in, if you're still taking...

I think we are still dealing with the Free Study Speed Challenge. Hopefully levyj413will start another one for FF at the rollover later today.
