Here is my entry, Time Marches On and my Edited version... Is it an improvement? Am I missing edits I should be doing? Do I really need to talk my wife into getting new carpets?
How would you have edited your entry?

It is indeed an improvement. Now the question to ask is, "what could I have done to get that result in the first place?" Is it possible that you could have used a different exposure, altered the lighting, etc and gotten the same result?
Then go tell your wife you need a new camera to take better pictures. ;)

Much improved! the whites seem just a little hot to me (could be my monitor, thogh).
I have three small children and I regret that we have any carpet!
Hardwood, that's the way to go!
