I'm interested. But I'm just curious, is being in the DPL very time consuming? I have three kids and my wife recently got a job. So for instance, if I have to take part in a whole bunch of consecutive challenges, I might not be able to. How many challenges over what period of time?

well there's about 4-5 challenges a week for open and same for member. so about 10 challenges i think? so i'd hope for you to enter about 3 to 5 at least

I too have 3 kids and work full time, my wife works full time and we use no child care. Is the DPL time consuming? It can be yes, however, what you take away from the experience and how much you grow as a photographer are worth the effort. At least IMO. ITs nice to get to know other members who you may not have otherwise come into contact with. Lets face it, this is a large community, but this gives you a great opportunity to learn and make great friends. Trust me, you won't regret joining a team. SOrry to highjack the thread , just had to chime in.

Sorry. Two challenges per week I might handle. More than that and I would probably fail or wind up entering bad photos. I don't want to let your team down. Good luck in the DPL, though. =]

I thought you were talking about per week... is this not correct? Either way I pretty much have the time right now.

You and your team mates want to enter as many challenges as possible over the course of the opening 5 rounds/weeks. That is up to two per week. Not two per month.

I think there is also a list of people who have given notice of interest is being placed with a team. You could check out that list. I am on it, but there are many many more.

When does it start? I really haven't been entering many challenges and I miss it, but I want to make sure that I can keep up with it if I say yes.

I'm still not really clear on how many challenges a week I should enter minimum? That's the long way of saying, yes, I'm interested but need to find out a little more.

Judy, You do not have to enter any so long as your team has 4 entries to count for the week. However the more each of the team members enter the better the chance for the teams score for the week to be higher. Enter as many as you can and your team mates should as well.

Brad the first regular season was from 05/14/07 to 06/27/07, 5 weeks with one week prior when the first challenges are announced and another week at the end for voting on the week 5's challenges. There was a week or two off then 2 rounds of play offs with a week off in between each play off round....More information regarding the first season is on the menu at the top of the page under 'League'.

That sounds doable for me. Might get a bit cramped for time but it's doable and sounds like alot of fun. If you still want me, cujee, I'm in. If not, where do I go to get on the Free Agent list?
