Are we going to have a special bonus challenge this week? I'd like to see one, as a lot of the U.S. ppl have a long weekend and maybe have more time to shoot.
Thanks!

I'd like a bonus challenge every week!
(and no more with no editing at all allowed, it drove me crazy changing my camera settings before every single shot, and throwing away my opportunity to leave my options open with regards to post-editing on shots I liked) |

What kind of settings did you have to change that you wouldn't change normally? Did it teach you more about your camera? I am just curious.

It wouldn't be a secret, last minute, 24 hour challenge if we went and pre-announced it, now would it ? :)

I thought the challenge of 'straight from the camera - no editing' was great and, after all, you can do all the editing you want for other purposes. I think it doesn't hurt to be reminded of just exactly what our camera and our selves can do.

We haven't had a speed challenge in months. We're due for a 24 hour challenge. I want it! Also, I'm getting DSL this weekend, so I'll actually be able to hang out on the website during the weekend, instead of just at work!
I vote for a speed challenge.

It would be good as long as it isnt related to "Labor Day" in any shape or form, cos I have absolutly no idea what that is :P

Jacko would have the best chance since his wife is 8+ months pregnant.

Ben,
Labor Day is that truly unique American holiday where we celebrate what American's do while at work, to wit: surf the DPC website.

just for the record (not that there IS a record or anything), we observe Labor Day in Canada, too. But we spell it right - Labour Day.

Bring your camera when you go out of town. I'll be visiting my parents, but they have a computer, too. Many public libraries have computers, too. Use their computer to upload your stuff onto DPC.

i don't want to obsess about photos while i'm on my dinky little vacation, but i WOULD like another challenge that gives me an opportunity to submit something that's not a shot of something local.
