A lot of objects here in jamaica will be getting their wings tomorrow. Pity I most likely wont be able to show emm in the challenge :(
I really wanted to enter wings but had to spend too much time preparing for the hurricane. |

Make sure to use high shutter speed and whatever focus tracking Pentax has, and pan with the flying debris to give it a sense of motion. :-) Just kidding of course, thought you could use a little humor about now.

Just heard that y'all are expected to get 20 inches of rain over there in Jamaica. Hope you're safe enough to document some of the happenings.

The worst seems to be over as we did'nt get a direct hit. Still a lot of wind, but that god awful howling has subsided.
Thanks to all for u'r concern. Surprisingly! I have'nt lost my internet connection, yet. So tomorrow I'll begin the task of trying to retreive the camera from all those ziplock bags :)
I'm off to go check on that generator |

WHAT? No, no, no! I got chewed out for not getting outside and getting real life action shots when Typhoon Man-Yi came to Okinawa. Life, smife...get some shots for us to remember you by! lol Just kidding of course. Stay safe and hurry back.
