| Yeah, I realize this must have been done dozens and dozens of times over, but I'm curious (as all others before me): What was the score on your first submission here? Mine's holding around 5.6, which I think is decent... |

Just be consistent, and true to your personal sense of style - regardless of scores. Mine just happened to be "agreeable" to most people here, and they seem to rate my pics ok.

My first shot was a 6.9, but I've only had one score higher than that since (about 42 challenges).
Shoot for fun and enjoy your own images. Don't put too much stock in scores here. Awesome shots here get some 1 2 and 3 votes all the time. My guess is that's from our depressed, lonely, too much time on the internet crowd...

| my first one was also the highest rated I've ever received (6.063). Maybe thats what keeps people comming back ;) |

Well I've entered 5 photos so far and my scores ranges wildly all the way from 5.3 to 5.5.
I'm consistently average, lol. :) |

Try to do worse than my 1st one: 3.412 with 48 1s!!
Even if 4 users so far picked it in their favourites.
I suppose that it is a kind of controversial shot. =)

3.9 - lowest ever by far. :)

Mine was about 4.8 probably justifyably so, the highest is the current sitting at around 5.8, well hey like I have all the time in the world to worry about it.
I think that none camera users should not be allowed tp vote on the competitions, and everyone who says they have a camera, should have to send in a shot with exif data from that camera. |

Mine was 5.220 place 64 out of 168. Would be quite happy with this result these days.
