Okay, you all inspired me to entry a sharpless shot in the shadows challenge. :) Xianart and Louis, you two in particular, for reasons I won't go into to preserve anonymity. After 9 votes, it's at 5.56, so maybe there's hope for us after all.

haha so did i, similar score ;)

Nothing new there. It's the photographer mostly; the better equipment just lets the photographer take pictures in a wider variety of lighting conditions. For what it's worth, though, my last two blur entries were with my point and shoot. :)

I had one in Street Photography. And it just squeezed over 6. So ... there is some upside possible in your scores!

Rainy night. If I knew where an umbrella was, I would have gone outside to find a better spot... next time.

I am just trying to stay caught up, I am going to try and get to some commenting, I haven't even had a chance to see most of the photos.

i think u can have much better (sharper center) results using a tri- or even better monopod
(my socket to attach the tripod is not useable at the moment;(

My 30D is in the shop for the next 3 weeks for an err99 issue. I am back to using the 300D which has become totally foreign to me. This is a shot from before the 30D went away.
