My husband and all of our friends have motorcycles. I'm a chicken and don't want one, so they got me a electric scooter to run around on. I'm half way to catching up with them.

Well.....I'm definitely in for this and I'll probably end up all over the place as I'm a summertime kinda guy. Here's that arcade pic again.....that was the sendoff for my little girl's adventure to Hawaii.

And.....here's a lazy, hazy, hot & humid sunset.......

It is just *VILE* humid here right now, and is supposed to be for a number of days.

I should be able to get some great sunsets 'cause the haze makes 'em cool!

I said I was gonna be all over the place with my July adventure pics.....so here's the next one. I love limitless blue skies with brilliant puffy clouds......and old airplanes. Here's a partial of a Grumman Albatross (A pretty rare aircraft!) against that July sky.

Edited for spaz fingers....

July 4th -- watching unnoticed as my cousin's son played alone on the beach in front of our summer house.

July 2 - Met Hipychik and Bmartuch in Michigan. We spent a little time in Frankenmuth. Only a few photos worth sharing.

This is Terry's granddaughter.

This was an outtake for Lucky 7. I hadn't read the details saying it should have seven of the subject in it. I was thinking the subject should be '7'.

Anyway, this is my cousin's house next door to where I am in Michigan for the month of July. My house is number 6. All the houses here are log and surrounded by woods.

Newlyweds vacationing next door to us in Michigan. This is a sunset on Lake Superior. They said this shot sums up their whole experience. I gave them the file.

I took a walk in a park on July 4 and met up with a beaver, swimming about 20 feet off from his dam.

Guess why I'm sleep deprived. That's right, because this wakes me up every morning.

BTW, this is straight from the camera -- absolutely no enhancement.

My husband wanted me to put this one up too. It's his favorite because of the big sky. The shutter speed was about twice as fast for this one as for the first one. That accounts for the difference in the color intensity.

I need to look in the forums more often, I seem to miss these other Team Suck threads.

Wonderful pictures everyone. Looks like everyone has been having a terrific time in July.

Hiking has been filling up my month:

Some days life just gives you awesome shots. I couldn't believe how beautiful a power line tower could be!

ETA: Look at the full size image.......it looks more like what I uploaded. It looks weirder than what I have here at home in a 212KB file.

While being taken around Cincinnati, this shot I took from the hip without him realizing it. One of my favorites.

More images from my Cincinnati trip:

Oops. It seems I never dropped by to share some of my pictures from our cruise the first week of July. It was a great time; naturally, I took more than 700 pictures. :)

Here are just a few of the good ones.
Lindsay's and my 14th anniversary

Snorkeling

Rockclimbing (that's Kendra, but I took 3rd place in the speed climbing contest!)

Fun with family (19 of us went, from my Dad and stempmom down through my kids' generation)

Goofy guys in the bellyflop competition

and natural beauty (the last three were in challenges)
