| The top half of this photo is just spectacular...I just love the placement of the bird. Too bad this challenge was basic because the bottom half of the photo would benefit from the rules under advanced. |

Mmmmm. Those are good enough to eat!!! I like the ship on the horizon, the bird in the sky and the person on the beach. I think the image seems a bit over sharpened, from the horizon down.
I remember the skies on June 30. They were gorgeous. Larry and I were driving North on Florida's Turnpike, and I wanted to stop every two minutes to take a picture. Of course I didn't, or we would never have gotten to Michigan. But it is so nice that you captured some of it for me. |

| Too sharp for me. I don't know if this is from resizing or ? A beautiful image that the sharpening ruins for me. Still high marks in every other area. |

| Open water should be the prominent feature in your image, this is more cloud/sky than water. Pretty tho! |

| Great clouds, and I like the person and bird. On my monitor the contrast looks a little high. I think it might look better softened just a tad. |

| A beautiful scene - I just find that the shadows or blacks are very heavy in this. that cloud formation is stunning, but the horizon line and the beach itself is black...almost disturbing: great idea for the "nightmare" challenge though :-) - nah just being facetious. But looking even at the shadows in the little wave ripples, - they're very dark. Maybe the contrast was pushed up too high? |
