I sincerely hope you get what you want out of this, but generally speaking, if something is listed for hundreds of dollars less than everywhere else, it's a problem.
I bought my D200 for $1499 two months ago from a real store. At the time, B&H was selling it for $1349, and that was about as cheap as I saw it except for someplace claiming to sell it for $1100.
Here's another site with low reviews for that site.
If they do call to sell you more stuff, cancel firmly and insist on getting confirmation of the cancellation.
Who knows, though, maybe you'll get lucky and have a good tale to tell!
CalamityMaster00: it took me literally 15 seconds to find that. If you ever want to research some sales site, just Google its name and "review" to find sites that review online stores.

You posted that while I was writing my first response.
Don't feel sick, just protect yourself. If you get even just the camera for that price, you'll be WAY ahead of the game. What I suggest is calling them to find out when it's supposed to ship. Also call your credit card company to be sure it's not billed before it ships. If you've been billed, but it hasn't shipped, cancel and tell your credit card company not to accept the charge.

I'd call my credit card company if I were you and cancel the transaction. Chances of you getting what you ordered are closer to zero than the chances of me flying to moon on a pink elephant...
To everyone else, PLEASE if it looks too good to be true then chances are it is NOT! If the prices are waaaay lower than high volume resellers like B & H, please think twice before giving them your credit card number and ask yourself whether this is logically possible.

edit: i think i might just see what happens.. its on a free upgrade to 2 day delivery.. which could be a joke....

I would almost be tempted to call the store and cancel the order all together and notify your CC company of their poor business practices and would refuse to pay any sort of restocking fee as that is just a scam in its self, they prob make more off of the restocking fee than their initial markup. Im going to stop now as places like this realy get my blood boiling and I tend to run off at the mouth in to a rage abou them :)

So ... you want Google to act as your nanny, investigating every online store of every type, determining who they're willing to accept advertising money from (that's all a top listing means - they bought the space), and warning you away from places they think are bad? You want no ability to make your own decisions?
Have I got that straight?

Don't panic yet, there were a few people that got what they ordered in a timely manner. If they give you a hard time, take it to your cc company.

Unfortunatly that would be way too big of a job for even google to manage, trying to weed out all the questionable businesses... |

How do you know that? The few positive feedback they have on resellerratings look pretty fake to me, probably posted by themselves. |

Chris, as a friend just thought I'd try to urge you to cancel the order. This place sounds too shadey. If you can save up for a couple of more weeks and buy from a reputable dealer. That's too much money to take a chance with. If you have to dispute somthing it could take months to straightn out. If you don't get it in time for the concert you can just borrow the D-50. |

Since you've already ordered,
1.print out the web pages that specify what you ordered, including lens manufacturer (e.g. Sigma, Tamron, Tokina and others make lenses of the same focal lengths that Canon and Nikon do).
2. Look for their terms and conditions (ie the part that specifies delivery, cancellation, etc) and print that out. This may be on the product page, but there is probably a page full of fine print hidden somewhere.
3. print out every email you get from the company.
4. If you can, record every call you have with the company. If you can't record, ask them for permission to record (if they think the call is recorded they may be more honest). And ask them to specify brand names and product numbers for everything they offer.
5. Become familiar with the cost of options, like third party batteries, third party chargers, extended warranties, polarizers and UV filters (and know the difference between uncoated, coated and multicoated, and circular vs linear polarizer).
6. A favorite line of some of these guys is "do you want metal or plastic lens mount" or "do you want the magnesium body or plastic body" Generally, the manufacturer makes only one or the other (ie a given lens will have a metal (or a plastic mount), there is no option to get the other.)
7. As the salesman to send you a detailed quote, and post it here for comment :-)
Document everything. I bought from a company like that and they promised a 28-70mm f/2.8 but shipped a 28-70 variable aperture that was a lot cheaper. I complained, they took the 28-70 f/2.8 off their website and said they never carried it. I said "well, I reviewed my recording of our conversations and looked over the printout I made of your website..." They said they no longer carried the 28-70 f/2.8 and replaced it with a 24-70 f/2.8 for no extra cost. |

This place has to be a rip off. There are lots of stories on the Internet regarding these places. At best this will come without a US warranttee. At worse it won't be as advertised. I buy only from B&H. You 'might' save a few bucks somewhere else, but it is not worth the risk and B&H always ships immediately and is very good about returns (7 days). |

Most places refuse to sell you the equipment at those prices unless you agree to their expensive warranty or buy the accessories that were supposed to be in the box at high prices. The product suddenly becomes out of stock.

To the OP, if you get your order canceled at fotonightmare, er foto connection, you might want to price the body only at NewEgg.com. Their re-seller rating is 9.89 and I've done plenty computer business with them and never had a glitch. DAM FAST. The D200 is listed body only over there for 1240 or so. My only wonder about them is if they are a Certifed Nikon dealer. I can't seem to find that info.
OOOPSSSS NIX THIS SUGGESTION
It's a Re-certified camera. Whatever the heck that is....
Oh well.
